Come on keep voting!

January 16, 2006 – 4:50 am

Don’t worry, you can vote more than once!  Just only once a day.  So … let’s get those votes going!

And please don’t forget to vist the nominated blogs and our gracious sponsors.

  2. Some people are saying you can vote more than once, but I’m wondering if anyone has successfully done so.

I just tried to vote again in the education category and it said my vote was not counted.

This is a big thing to be confused about though, no?

  3. I’m having the same issue. It keeps telling me I’ve already voted when I haven’t.

  4. I have not been able to vote more than one time. And most people I know haven’t been able to vote more than once, either, although they began voting at the beginning of the competition.

  5. No one I know has been able to vote more than once per household. I still can’t.

  6. I have only been able to vote once, but have heard storeis of some having computers that can vote multiple times a day.

I love you guys, really, but I’ve kind of given up on following the votes because it seems so arbitrary. It seems like you if you are lucky enough to have the right kind of computer set up, then you’re a go.

Thanks, though, to all the volunteers. Amazing amount of work and it really is a lot of fun to meet all these new people.

  7. No one I have corresponded with has been permitted to vote more than once, which rather puts out of the race, too, I think. But we sure do appreciate the effort that went into the program. Many thanks to the sponsors and organizers. Best regards to all of the finalists.

  8. Nope, no one who voted for me has been able to vote more than once, either, although I’ve seen other people say they have been able to. I live in rural Arkansas, so there aren’t internet cafes or anything fancy like that where people can duplicate votes. Just my readers.

And I still haven’t seen an answer as to when the voting will end. It almost seems like it will go on until the “right people” are ahead. I don’t really mean that, but just that it’s frustrating not knowing/understanding the rules. I think you guys are awesome for taking on something that has to be such a huge pain in the tuckus.

  9. I really don’t understand what’s happening,i voted for the first time and was told that i voted already. This is a complete waste of time. I wonder how the people who are ahead got there.

  10. I take it the jurors nominate sites?

  11. I haven’t been able to vote more than once either. This somehow strikes me as very unfair/inaccurate. Those who can, do… those who cannot, lose out. Bummer. Is there a way to fix this?

  12. I haven’t been able to vote more than once either, even tried clearing out my cache.

    When is voting ending?

  13. I haven’t been able to vote more than once either.

  14. I just tried to vote for a second time (the first being when the voting began) and was unable. I was told that I had voted already. Please fix this or stop letting people (who can) vote more than once.

  15. I just tested again, and I’ve not been able to vote more than once. And because it took so long to get clarification, we (my wife and I) didn’t ask our readers to vote more than once. (This happened last year, too.)

If other people HAVE been able to vote more than once, we have no hope of catching up or even knowing how we would have fared.

  16. I have not been able to vote more than once a day either.

  17. Oh good, I’m glad it’s not just me. I wasn’t able to vote more than once.

  18. Ditto—haven’t been able to vote more than once, and I’ve been trying daily.
